Ted O'Neill, Founder and CEO
Ted is singularly responsible for the creation of the world's most popular and commercially successful online message board technology. The graphical user interface Ted developed for the UBB.classic software has become the acknowledged industry standard. He now directs the efforts of an outstanding team of engineers and communication professionals who are extending his vision into next generation community and social networking services. In 1999, Ted was named one of the top 25 most influential Internet professionals by Seattle Magazine. Prior to founding Groupee, Ted held management positions with several technology companies. He received his B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
Rosemary O'Neill, Founder and President
Rosemary is a co-founder of the company and has focused on marketing and communication initiatives. She brings over 13 years of experience in corporate communications and marketing to the Groupee team, having previously served as Corporate Marketing Manager and senior technical writer/editor in the environmental services and engineering industry. She is a member of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, and has presented at the Silicon Valley Springboard venture capital forum. Rosemary has a B.A. from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Lori Hope, VP and COO
Lori joined Groupee as Controller in May 2000, bringing 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management. As a senior member of the core management team, she overseers all day-to-day operations, with special emphasis on focuses on financial accounting and reporting. Lori is a C.P.A. with a degree from Central Washington University.
Barry Kaplan, Chief Technology Officer
Barry's responsibilities include application development, testing, and release, as well as the operations management of Groupee's ASP environments. Prior to joing Groupee, he worked on a range of products from electronic trading systems to real time mobile alerting infrastructures. He has worked for Goldman Sachs, SmartRay Networks, Lifeminders and NASA and received his Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
